There is no need to remove plants from the media before using this product. Designed to be used in conjunction with beneficial bacteria such as VitaLink Bio-Pak or Beneficials Bio-Link Plus, the resulting dead biomass will feed the beneficial bacteria which will in turn convert this matter into food for your plants.
