NEW & IMPROVED 2006 - The NEW Oxypot is based around the Hydro Air Pump (a high quality Italian pump that sits in the solution in the Oxypot). No more air stones to get blocked and no air lines. Pump noise and vibration levels greatly reduced as pump is inside the pot in the solution and air flow can be adjusted to 180 litres/hour (old Oxypot was 150 litres/hour).
Includes new nutrient fill / root insertion hole making it easier to monitor and manage.
Made from food grade plastic, the Ikon Oxy Pot is a Deep Water Culture (DWC) hydroponic unit that would make a good home for your mother plant. Growth rates are super-fast, as the roots are being fed large amounts of oxygen through a high quality ceramic air stone.
Part of the root system is suspended in air with the remainder submersed in an oxygen rich nutrient. The nutrient is continuously aerated with a Hydror Air pump.
The Oxy Pot is one of the simplest systems around.
Included with the system are a Hydor pump and a small quantity of clay pebbles. All you need to add is your plant and nutrient and away you go.
